PostHeaderIcon I have a Problem with my Bosch Dishwasher???

I had my Bosch Dishwasher for about a year and a half, and since we are not used to having one we did not use it a lot. Probably only three times. Now we wanted to start it up but it doesn’t work. The problem is that the water is let in and fills the bottom. Then the detergent is let out and left on the bottom. After that nothing happens. Can anyone help me on this problem
Thanks for your answer but how do i check the tubing.

The drain is probably clogged going to your garbage disposal. Take the garbage disposal line coming from the dishwasher off of the disposal. It will be attached with a strap and a regular screw. Loosen that and look in the hose. You can stick a screwdriver down the hose and see if there is anything obstructing the hose. If there is no obstruction, you might have a problem with the motor or the seal on the door. If the door doesn’t seal correctly the dishwasher won’t run. Best bet, call a local place that sells parts for Dishwashers or if it is under warranty, the place you bought it. You can also email Bosch about it, they can tell you the most likely culprit and if your lucky, they might offer to fix it for you. Sometimes businesses have small problems with a limited number of products and they don’t recall or notify, but when you call or contact them, they acknowledge the problem. At the company website, you can also get brochures, parts and locate authorized service centers.

Better call a service person. I hope it is still on warranty.

I’m wondering if you might have gotten some kind of buildup in the tubing from not using it much. Sounds like there is a blockage in there somewhere. Bosch makes the best dishwashers, so I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be a defect in the equipment. Try to check the lines out to see if there is a block or a crimp.
