Maytag Dishwasher: Buttons won’t work, what could cause this?
Model #: MDBTT50AWS
The machine was working fine yesterday, but today the power button won’t work. Also, the last cycle that actually did power up didn’t release the soap, it stayed in the trap.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? If so, how expensive would it be to fix?
It needs to be replaced. Unfortunately this is the only part that costs more to fix than it does to replace the whole unit.
How do I clear out what I think is broken glass from my Maytag dishwasher?
My Dishwasher makes a clicking & grinding sound when running through the wash cycle. It doesn’t do it all the time & it still washes the dishes well. I did find some broken glass in the dishwasher, and I am guessing a smaller piece is caught somewhere and is causing the noise. Can I remove it or should I wait and see if it works itself out?
You may need a torx screwdriver to remove part of the sump assembly to gain access to the broken glass. T20 and/or T25 should work.
I bought a Maytag dishwasher in July?
since I bought it, it stopped working twice. the push button controls don’t work at all. Did I buy a crappy brand and can you recommend something better?
i always trust Kenmore at Sears.
