hmmm mine wasn’t that hard to take out but it did help to find out that taken part out by pulling up was the proper way to do it.
there was obstructing near the pump that was preventing drainage , might have been the problem all along so ordering the new part might have not been necessary although old pump was making weird noise better to be safe then sorry….thanks for the video again

As you know, this appliance is not that old and obviously had too many problems since you purchased it.
I would write a letter to Kenmore…not asking for a replacement, but letting them know that because of this you will never buy any Kenmore appliance again and that you have been a loyal Kenmore customer.
You might be surprised as to what they might do.
