Is my dishwasher beyond repair?
I have an Indesit Dishwasher about 4 years old and it won’t drain. There is no kink in the hose. There doesn’t seem to be a pump noise at any point of the cycle. Instead of stopping at the end of the cycle, it just moves on round to the next cycle and starts again - but no draining. I don’t want to pay for someone to look at it, if they are just going to say it is beyond repair, as that is money I could have put towards a new machine. I have heard that it would not be worth paying to repair the pump - more ecomonical to just buy a new machine. Any experts out there??!
sounds like the timer is bad,
if your a DIY person call an appliance repair shop , have the make, model #, to see if there is a replacement for it, [timer]
i aways figged that if repairs are 1/2 of a new one, go with a new one,

sounds like a bad pump, but it could be a bad timer. either of these will cost you $150+ with parts and labor to have fixed. the advantage of a new machine is that they have evolved alot in the last few years. and you no longer have to wash your dishes before you wash your dishes.
