PostHeaderIcon Is there a domestic dishwasher available with both hot and cold water feeds?

We have constant hot water from a Rayburn, so it doesn’t make sense to use a Dishwasher that heats its water from cold. The hot water is sometimes nearly boiling, but most manufacturers specify 65º max. Is there a machine that can take really hot water for washing, and has a cold water feed for prewashing and rinsing?

Bad luck - you will not find one in the UK.

my dishwasher will not drain after it cycles. Do I need a plumber or dishwasher repairman?

No not that have seen. I wouldn’t want to wash my dishes in cold water! Think of all the germs and bacteria that you would help promote the growth of. Hot water sterilizes the dishes. So I don’t think we will be seeing one made with a hot and cold feature. You may want to try turning down your water heater.

just attach the hot water to the machine, the washer will only heat the water up to required temp if it needs to. hot rinsing will be ok and so will the prewash, it will be fine. unless you wish to use the cold rinse function which i find useless
